Call me weird or some other name, but I'd just like to know EXACTLY how many antelope horns and purple milkweed vines we have on our property (see "Milkweed inventory"). So I bought a box of tongue depressors and marked codes on them. "A" for antelope horns (duh) and "P" for the other species.
I placed each marked in about the same place (on the plant's north side) so I'd know where to look later. We'll see just how well my system works.
